These are your main tasks.
- Independent processing of export orders – from order acceptance through deadline monitoring to delivery
- Preparation of all relevant export, import, shipping, and customs documents (including customer invoices) in compliance with export regulations, Incoterms, and customs regulations
- Coordination of delivery dates, transports, and coordination with freight forwarders as well as support of customers and suppliers as the central contact person
- Monitoring the supply chain, inventory levels, and organizing packaging and container management
- Maintenance of customer portals, recording relevant key figures, and close cooperation with sales, production, logistics, and accounting
- Handling complaints and after-sales support in an international environment
This is what you bring with you.
- Completed commercial training, ideally further education in export / order processing
- Several years of experience in order and export processing
- Solid knowledge of Incoterms as well as experience with electronic customs systems and customer portals
- Affinity and understanding for procurement and planning activities
- Very good German and English skills (additional languages are an advantage) as well as pronounced communication skills in dealing with customers, suppliers, and internal interfaces
- Good MS Office skills, experience with ERP systems (Infor is an advantage)
- High service orientation, organizational talent, and accuracy
- Resilience, flexibility, and confident appearance with changing priorities
