Nestled in a nature park, with the majestic waterfall and breathtaking views of Lake Brienz, the Grandhotel Giessbach stands for lived hospitality and a forward-looking, sustainable working environment. What awaits you with us.
You play a central role in the gastronomic experience of our guests and coordinate the smooth service process in "Elisa – Bistro & Terrace" as a host. You keep a cool head even during busy guest times and enthusiastically carry our philosophy as well as our empathetic leadership culture.
- Managing reservations and table assignments
- Ensuring communication between kitchen and service
- Leading the service team of about 5 employees with support from the Food & Beverage management
- Independently and professionally handling guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback
What you bring with you
- Certified restaurant specialist EFZ or several years of professional experience in upscale service
- First leadership experience in similar positions or strong motivation for professional development
- Modern leadership personality with a clear and empathetic leadership philosophy and lived "hands-on" mentality
- Extensive wine knowledge
- Good German and English skills, additional languages are an advantage
- Upbeat personality with passion for the profession in all its facets
