You will take on a key role in leading and coordinating cloud-based development projects for our railway customers. You lead a team of highly qualified engineers and ensure the successful implementation of innovative solutions. You optimize product development, ensure high quality, and increase efficiency. In doing so, you work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and customers.

We are looking for an experienced individual with an analytical mindset, enjoyment of complex projects, and the ability to manage agile processes.

Your new tasks

• You take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of the team and ensure that resources are used optimally. You promote collaboration, support the development of team members, and motivate them to achieve top performance.
• You plan, control, and monitor development projects in the area of Digital Portfolio. You ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to requirements. This includes defining project goals, task distribution, risk management, and quality assurance.
• You work closely with the development team to develop innovative cloud solutions for our Digital Portfolio and the test & training systems in the railway environment. You identify potential for optimizing existing processes and drive the introduction of new technologies and methods.
• You maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as customers in the railway environment, partners, or other departments within Siemens. You understand the stakeholders' requirements and ensure that the developed solutions meet their needs.
• You stay up to date with the latest developments in cloud, simulation & testing. You identify new technologies, tools, and methods that could improve the development environment and implement them in consultation with the relevant teams.

Your profile

• Extensive leadership experience and the ability to motivate teams and foster talent
• Several years of experience in development and project coordination, experience in the railway environment is an advantage
• Solid practical knowledge of cloud technologies and their applications in product development
• Completed technical studies (ETH, FH) or equivalent qualification (apprenticeship with specialized further education)
• Very good German and English skills
• High level of initiative as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to clearly and tangibly convey complex contexts to stakeholders
