What to expect
- Technical and personnel leadership of an engineering team focused on sustainable development, team structure, and personal responsibility
- Close collaboration with product management, stakeholders, and adjacent teams to implement solutions in the respective business context
- Active participation in architecture, design, and development – from the idea to go-live
- Application of modern principles such as Domain-Driven Design, Self-Contained Systems, Micro-Frontends, or Data Mesh
- Ensuring code quality, testing, documentation, and CI/CD processes
- Conducting code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching within the team
- Designing efficient development and operational environments incorporating current DevOps practices
- Evaluation and introduction of new technologies as well as proven best practices
- Systematic identification and reduction of technical debt as well as active risk management
- Even a deployment on Friday doesn’t throw you off
What you bring
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, including at least 1 year with technical or disciplinary leadership responsibility
- Very good knowledge of modern backend/frontend technologies, cloud solutions, and CI/CD processes
- Solid understanding of agile development methods and DevOps culture
- Experience in building scalable software architectures and modular system landscapes
- Practical experience in one or more of the areas: Product Data Management, Sourcing & Purchasing, and/or Finance & HR
- Familiarity with team topologies and building effective team structures
- High conceptual strength, solution orientation, and customer focus
- Strong communication skills, leadership mentality, and a coaching mindset
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Interest in exchange within the tech community or contributions to open-source projects are an advantage
