Senior Physician

• You lead the focus area in geriatric and neuropsychiatry consisting of outpatient care, day clinic, and memory clinic.
• You independently and case-responsibly conduct treatments of outpatient patients in individual, group, and family settings including documentation, correspondence, and service recording.
• You maintain and promote networking with surrounding nursing and retirement homes and take over ward rounds as well as consultative and supervisory requests.
• You are directly responsible for the training of assigned assistant psychologists and assistant physicians and supervise them.
• You work in the management team of the outpatient department at the Sargans location.
• You participate in the clinic-wide on-call service (two to three weeks per year).

• You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or a specialist in general internal medicine (preferably in training for the focus on geriatrics).
• You have a professional practice license from the canton of St. Gallen or meet the necessary requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
• You bring experience in treating psychiatric patients or in internal medicine, geriatrics, or neurology.
• You are committed, appreciate working with patients, and enjoy working in a multiprofessional team.
• You are a flexible, team-oriented, communicative, socially competent personality with motivation for further development.
• You like to work independently, take responsibility, and make decisions confidently.
• You have very good German skills (at least C1).
