- Clarify legal issues in the area of the Financial Market Infrastructure Act (FinfraG), specifically regarding exchanges, multilateral trading facilities (MTFs), and organized trading facilities (OTFs), central counterparties (CCPs), central securities depositories (CSDs), payment systems, transaction registers, and derivatives
- Conduct authorization, approval, and recognition procedures for domestic and foreign financial market infrastructures
- Provide legal support for the ongoing supervision of financial market infrastructures
- Ensure appropriate communication with applying institutions, national and foreign partner authorities, as well as relevant international organizations
- Assist with reviews of Swiss regulation by international bodies and in the area of equivalence procedures
- Support conceptual tasks and regulatory work
- Completed law degree, additional legal training is an advantage
- 5-8 years of professional experience in financial market law
- Analytical, holistic, and forward-looking thinking
- Structured working style and ability to quickly grasp complex topics, form an overall judgment, and describe solution options concisely
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Very good oral and written German and English skills
