About the job

The Office for Urban Development is responsible for the further development of living and residential spaces, the business location, as well as the Smart City. We are guided by the principles of sustainable development. We are looking for a committed individual to join the Social Space department immediately or by arrangement. This includes topics such as socioculture, participation, and social-spatial development, the city's neighborhood facilities, as well as contact with neighborhood sponsors and other service providers. As a Specialist in Social Space, you will implement these topics operationally within the framework of the city's strategies. In this diverse interface role, you will work closely with internal and external partners to sustainably strengthen the quality of life in Winterthur.

Your Tasks

Further development and operational implementation of the topic of socioculture

Co-design of the topic of participation (digital and analog) with services for the administration

Implementation of strategies and concepts for social-spatial development

Further development of Winterthur's neighborhood facilities

Contract management and contact with neighborhood sponsors and other service providers

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in social sciences / social work, preferably with a focus on socioculture or related disciplines

Initial professional experience in the field of social space or related professions

Confident handling of digital tools as well as an affinity for digital processes

Communicative personality with a strong service and solution orientation

Initiative, independent and flexible personality

Enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team and agile working methods
