Ensure electricity in Switzerland

In this responsible role, you take over the management and implementation of demanding telecommunications projects and thus make a significant contribution to the secure and reliable electricity supply in Switzerland. Your tasks include:

• Overall responsibility for our major project in the area of Wide Area Networking (WAN) – from planning to implementation – focusing on achieving goals regarding scope, time, cost, and quality across all project phases
• Participation in the preparation of project proposals as well as in the development of technical and financial analyses and concepts in all project phases
• Preparation of tender documents within the framework of public procurement procedures (BöB/VöB) and professional management of suppliers
• Ensuring transparent project controlling including reporting and successful handover of projects to operational business
• Leading the project team and promoting constructive and goal-oriented collaboration with internal specialist departments and external partners

For the position of Project Manager, we are looking for a committed, flexible, and communicative personality who enjoys working with people. You keep an overview even in demanding situations, possess conflict resolution skills as well as pronounced assertiveness and initiative. You know how to convey complex matters concisely and understandably. In addition, you bring the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing complex telecommunications projects (especially in the WAN area), ideally in the energy or another infrastructure industry
• Knowledge of IP/MPLS and DWDM technologies
• Practical experience in at least two project management methods as well as in requirements engineering, test management, and supplier management
• Ability to deploy project staff targeted according to their strengths, align them with project and company goals, and promote their development
• Experience in early detection and constructive resolution of conflicts
• Knowledge of contract and change management in the project environment
• Experience in conducting rollout projects
• Very good German and good English skills; French skills are an advantage
• Completed university degree in communications engineering or industrial engineering
