HVAC Maintenance Technician

To strengthen our Facilities & Services department, we are looking for a:

HVAC MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

ROLE

• Ensure preventive, improvement, and corrective maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) installations at the Prilly and Bussigny sites
• Participate in the installation of new HVAC systems
• Perform regular inspections, clean components, replace filters, and carry out preventive maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and repair HVAC system failures and malfunctions (replacement of parts, adjustments, troubleshooting performance issues)
• Optimize HVAC system performance to ensure maximum energy efficiency and reduce operating costs
• Interact with internal and external clients to understand their needs, explain detected issues, and provide advice on system use and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal installation and maintenance standards and regulations
• Participate in on-call service and comply with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) rules

PROFILE

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as an electrician installer, automation technician, or refrigeration fitter, with very good knowledge of thermal engineering
• Minimum 3 years in a regulated establishment in Switzerland, in a professional installations, engineering, or operations service
• Excellent knowledge of building HVAC technical installations
• Proven ability to analyze and solve problems (root cause identification)
• Flexibility in working hours
• Ability to establish and manage relationships at all levels of the organization
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Experience in cross-functional teams and stakeholder management
• Desire to learn and work in a team
• Driver's license required
• Languages: Fluent in French; English and/or German are an asset
• IT: Good command of O365, MS Office, SharePoint, Share file, SAP S4HANA software; knowledge of APIs (Siemens, SAIA) and AdB, MCR tools (e.g., Honeywell, PCvue)
• Residence less than 30 minutes from the work site
