Team Leader Blüemli (70 %)
The Schmelzi Foundation provides adult people who are in a difficult life situation and cannot manage their everyday life alone with a home, individual care, and as much time as they need to stabilize. For this purpose, the foundation operates various residential and employment offers.
You are responsible for the personnel and professional leadership of 4 employees and care for around 11 clients of a residential group in the inpatient area. The working hours are between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
What you bring with you
- Completed training in social pedagogy or social work FH / HF
- Experience in supporting people with mental impairments
- Leadership experience with appropriate further training or willingness to complete it
- Cooperative and partnership-based leadership style with active feedback culture
- Strong reflection, criticism, and conflict skills
- Resilience, creative and flexible thinking
- Willingness to work weekend and evening shifts (no night shifts)
- Good computer user skills
- Ideally driving license B
Your main tasks
- You organize and enrich the everyday life of the clients with daily structuring activities and are co-responsible for the personal development of the clients
- You work interdisciplinarily with legal guardians and relatives, internal and external specialists
- You lead and manage team meetings, professional discussions, and meetings
- You plan the employees economically, efficiently, and appropriately to the situation and actively participate in new hires and the introduction of new employees
- Support and further development of the team in professional and human matters
- You take responsibility for the further development of the professional staff and the practical supervision of students
- You take responsibility for achieving the departmental and operational goals as well as for the further development of the Schmelzi Foundation
