At our location in Laufen / BL, we are looking to strengthen our global competence center for fittings for the Technical Project Management department with a:
Technical Project Manager 100% (m / f / d)
(Area Fittings Public & Smart)
In this demanding role, you are responsible for the comprehensive management and monitoring of the projects in your area (Fittings Public & Smart) from conception to market launch.
What tasks await you with us:
- Management of all project phases: scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and cross-functional coordination
- Coordination and integration of all relevant project streams: product development, digital enablement, production preparation, marketing, commercialization, supply chain, and after-sales
- Driver for digital and smart solutions within the PMO team; ensuring the integration of innovative technologies in the product development process
- Collaboration with R&D as well as smart and electronics teams to evaluate technical concepts and identify digital potentials (e.g., IoT, sensors, app integration, data-based features)
- Budget monitoring and active risk management throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Stakeholder management as well as continuous and structured communication about project progress
What we expect from you professionally:
- Deep understanding of smart technologies, IoT concepts, and current digitalization trends in the field of connected products (possibly you have a degree in electrical engineering and information technology)
- Technical curiosity and the ability to ask targeted questions to ensure that products meet user needs
- Experience with project management methods and tools (e.g., Smartsheet) as well as knowledge of the product development process – from idea to launch
- Very good German and English skills
- Ability to coordinate and motivate interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational skills and strong time management to structure complex projects
