In this responsible role, you contribute with heart and commitment to leading a nursing group in an open dementia ward. You take on the personnel and organizational management of a department with 14 nursing places – you are responsible for guiding a motivated team and actively contributing to improving the quality of life of our residents with dementia.

• Personnel and organizational management of the department including staff deployment planning
• Absence management in cooperation with Care Management
• Recruitment of new employees in cooperation with HR
• Commitment to residents with dementia
• Active shaping of interprofessional collaboration with the medical service and therapy team
• Active participation in projects
• Further development of the nursing oasis in cooperation with the nursing expert

• Completed studies as a certified nurse HF/FH or equivalent foreign diploma recognized by the SRK
• Several years of experience in managing a nursing department with more than 10 places
• Completed leadership training (including business management basics) and project management experience are advantageous
• High social competence and healthy assertiveness
• Professional appearance, negotiation skills, and confident expression

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two nursing centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three nursing apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to elderly, care-dependent people and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
