In short
In this role you will drive and lead retail initiatives to increase operational excellence within our own retail stores. Along with regional retail management and store leadership, your role will grow together with us as we continue to expand our retail channel. You will ensure operational excellence for new store openings and build out quality standards for our existing retail network in the EMEA region. You will have the opportunity to shape and build On’s retail landscape and support in setting the foundation for years to come.
Your Mission
- Lead and participate in working groups advocating as the voice of our EMEA retail stores with a focus on store specific communication, projects and initiatives
- Lead the communication strategy and streamline tasks,acting as one of the main points of contact between headquarter offices and stores
- Create and establish standard operating procedures for retail stores in partnership with support departments
- Provide recommendations to stakeholders for store related communications or requests to support strategy planning and execution of store tasks
- Lead strategy for efficient inventory management including stock count planning, cycle count analysis, stock write off, POS support etc
- Support with logistics for marketing or event in stores that align with the quarterly store operations roadmap
- Lead the operational execution for new retail store openings, ensuring timely openings and effective collaboration with global and cross-functional stakeholders and any follow up actions required
- Collaborate with Retail Tech and IT teams to implement technical processes and system related improvements (e.g. warranty and return process, omni-channel offering) to enable smooth retail operations and scalable business foundations
- Work with Retail Training to communicate and align timings for relevant trainings for our store teams according to the operational calendar
- Support internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to local operations compliance needs and the implementation of Asset Protection and Health & Safety standards in compliance with local market requirements (country specific)
Your story
- You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role managing retail operations
- Experience leading leading multi-functional teams, both remote and local
- You have strong experience in project management from start to finish, coordinating with cross-functional teams
- You have an entrepreneurial growth mindset and are eager to challenge the status quo, with an appetite for improvement
- You are comfortable managing ambiguity in a fast paced environment
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and also love to work hands on
- You are fluent in spoken and written English, proficiency in French or German is a plus
