In this newly created role as Environmental and Sustainability Manager at Stadtwerk Winterthur, you will strengthen the anchoring of environmental and sustainability issues within our organization. You will further develop our environmental management and make a central contribution to systematically integrating ecological aspects into decisions, projects, and processes at Stadtwerk Winterthur.

Your Tasks

Professional support of procurement projects with a focus on ecological criteria and compliance with municipal guidelines

Analysis and optimization of existing processes regarding their environmental impacts

Development and implementation of measures to reduce emissions and resource consumption

Management and implementation of projects to further develop sustainability activities

Representation of Stadtwerk Winterthur in various committees inside and outside the Winterthur city administration

Your Profile

Education at FH/Bachelor level in environmental engineering or environmental natural sciences

Several years of relevant professional experience in environmental management

Entrepreneurially minded personality as well as a result-oriented working style with a willingness for continuous improvement

Experience in public procurement is an advantage

Good IT skills in MS Office programs
