Starting September 1, 2026, we offer an exciting internship position (60%, fixed-term, 2 years with option to extend) at the Winterthur libraries. The internship lasts 24 months and is aimed at Bachelor, Master, or MAS students of information sciences.Your Tasks
- Advise and support guests in the library
- Convey media and services of the Winterthur libraries
- Participate in events and projects (e.g., Robotics Lab)
- Active involvement in the further development of the offerings of the Library 4.0 team
Your Profile
- Student in a Bachelor, Master, or MAS program in information sciences
- Special interest in digital media processing and new technologies such as 3D printing, laser cutters, cutting plotters, embroidery machines, etc.
- Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for transferring academic knowledge into everyday library practice
- Communicative personality with strong customer orientation
- Willingness to work on Saturdays
