Tasks

As an operational contact person, you are mainly responsible for the topic of Dangerous Goods. You coordinate all matters based on regulatory and corporate-wide requirements, participate in working groups and meetings with internal and external parties, and handle all inquiries.

Additionally:

• You coordinate and plan all training for our station managers according to requirements
• You initiate manual revisions regarding Dangerous Goods regulations in close coordination with various interfaces
• You conduct Ground Operations compliance audits and inspections at our service providers at EDW destinations
• You handle audit and inspection findings in a timely manner
• You take on tasks in the validation and classification of crew and station reports and in mandatory occurrence reporting

Requirements

You bring an aviation degree and/or practical experience in compliance or quality/risk management in aviation. In addition, you have solid knowledge of national and international legislation (including IOSA, ICAO, EASA) as well as in the area of Dangerous Goods.

What else is needed:

• Strong communication and analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Solid knowledge and experience in compliance/audit, preferably with a focus on Ground Operations and Dangerous Goods
• Confident and professional appearance, assertiveness, resilience, and strong conflict management skills
• High flexibility and willingness to undertake regular international business trips including weekend assignments
• Openness and intercultural competence in dealing with international service partners
• Fluent German and English skills as well as very good Microsoft 365 user skills
