The Solothurn Center Oberwald Foundation supports, accompanies, and promotes people with disabilities of all age groups as a result of congenital and acquired impairments, illnesses, and accidents in a targeted and individual manner. This takes place at locations in Biberist and Zuchwil. Across the entire foundation, around 200 employees are consistently committed to preserving, further developing, and regaining valuable skills – for an inclusive life and participation in society.

Social Pedagogy Specialist HF, fixed-term, 80%
What to expect
- Agogic daily support for adults with mild disabilities living in rented apartments
- Planning, implementation, and evaluation of care measures
- Performing minor nursing tasks as well as household requirements in everyday life
- Implementation of key worker duties according to specifications
- Contact person for the concerns of the clientele and appreciative and close cooperation with relatives, guardianships, and referring agencies
- Taking on regular on-call duties in addition to normal work
Your profile
- Completed training as a Social Pedagogy Specialist HF
- Professional experience in health and social services and a special flair for working with people with disabilities is an advantage
- Good communication and writing skills as well as very good German language skills
- Positive attitude towards changes related to the implementation of the UN Disability Convention
- High social competence as well as physical and mental resilience
- Good IT application skills (Word, Outlook)
