The Salome Brunner Foundation is committed to around 300 children and adolescents with speech development disorders and learning difficulties. With our various schools, we see ourselves as an important part of the educational landscape of the Canton of Bern. The Wabern Speech Therapy School is a special public school for children and adolescents with a complex speech development disorder as well as an intellectual disability and comprises 21 classes from primary level to the vocational preparation school year (BVS). Small classes allow for addressing the individual needs of the students. Speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy are provided as individual therapy. Tasks

- 12 - 28 lessons of speech therapy, a total of 52 lessons, the lessons can be divided among each other - speech therapy support of the students (2 lessons each / week) - collaboration in the interdisciplinary team (school, day school, boarding school, medical therapy, speech therapy) - exchange and participation in the speech therapy team and the school

Requirements

- completed studies in speech therapy - joy and interest in working with children and adolescents with special needs in the areas of language, communication, behavior, and learning
