Reference: CLS/RH/2026.744 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Hours: Monday to Sunday according to 3 shifts: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM - 7:00 AM-7:00 PM - 7:00 PM-7:00 AM / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

We offer you to join our operating room as a Specialized Technical Assistant to actively contribute to the smooth running of interventions, particularly in the role of circulating assistant and in the management of surgical equipment.
What will you be expected to do?
- Participate in welcoming, comforting, installing, and ensuring the safety of patients within the operating rooms
- Participate in applying hygiene and asepsis rules during pre-, peri-, and postoperative periods
- Collaborate in the conduct of surgical or interventional medical procedures as a circulating assistant
- Handle surgical and radiological devices during surgical procedures
- Participate in restocking, organizing single-use materials, instruments, and operating room equipment, and cleaning
- Keep all elements necessary for traceability and billing, and complete billing and sampling sheets

Your expertise:
- Hold a Certificate as a Specialized Technical Assistant in Operating Room (STAO)
- Have proven experience in the operating room
- Strictly master asepsis, hygiene, and safety rules in the operating room
- Collaborate effectively with the entire operating room team (surgeons, anesthetists, instrument technicians, operating room aides)
- Communicate clearly, structured, and appropriately in the operating context
- Demonstrate composure and reliability in critical situations
- Assume your responsibilities with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Integrate quickly into a team thanks to a great adaptability

- Show versatility in several surgical disciplines
- Have expertise in a specialty of the operating room (e.g., orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotic surgery)
- Master instrumentation and medical devices specific to different specialties and participate in preparing operating materials
