Maintenance technician at the Construction Department 100%
The Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety Department (CIT-S) is looking for a maintenance technician with an electronics or automation orientation, at a workload between 80% and 100%, to strengthen the biomedical maintenance workshop team from November 1, 2025.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a reference role in the fields of medical care, research, and education.
The Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety Department (CIT-S) ensures the operation, maintenance, construction, and technical support of a large real estate portfolio of more than 250 buildings in the canton of Vaud.
The CIT-S manages various projects: reassignment and transformation of spaces, modernization of laboratories, care rooms, meeting rooms, offices, and much more.
Mission
- You ensure corrective and preventive maintenance of medical devices (intensive care ventilators, monitoring, infusion pumps, etc.)
- You assist and advise medical teams in the proper use of the devices
- You collaborate with care services to plan and organize the maintenance for which you are responsible
- You manage administrative tasks related to your role
- You participate in the on-call rotation, according to the service organization.
Profile
- • You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an electronics technician or automation technician (or an equivalent qualification)
• You have at least 5 years of experience in industrial or hospital maintenance
• You have good knowledge of network architecture (TCP/IP)
• You master basic computer tools and have good analytical skills
• You have a good team spirit and a willingness for self-training
• You master French, with technical knowledge of English
• You hold a category B driving license.
💰 Depending on profile, the salary class is between levels 6 and 7
