With high professionalism and competence, we have been supporting our members, donors, and those seeking advice in the area of advance care planning for over a decade. Whether through personal consultations or public events. We help people to address important life questions early and make autonomous decisions.

Due to the retirement of the current position holder, we are looking for an experienced and empathetic personality as of July 15, 2026 or by arrangement as

Specialist Advisor: Living Will / Advance Directive.

Your impact with us

You coordinate consultation requests
You conduct approximately 60 consultations annually on living wills (LW) and advance directives (AD) (digitally or physically)
You handle the administrative preparation and follow-up of individual consultation units (preparation of LW and advice on AD documents, submission for filing, and invoicing) You give thematic presentations on living wills and advance directives at public events

What convinces us about you

Solid basic medical and nursing knowledge (medical measures at the end of life, palliative care, understanding of disease courses)
Basic legal knowledge of the relevant legal frameworks
Several years of counseling experience on existential issues such as illness, loss of autonomy, and death
Strong competence in ethics, self-reflection, and conducting/moderating difficult conversations and challenging tensions between life extension and quality of life
Knowledge of the service landscape in the area of care and support Enthusiasm and competence for public presentations with up to 200 guests
Training in a relevant professional field
