We are looking for a caretaker with a professional certificate

(100%, from Jan 1, 2026 or by arrangement)

Our day special school needs a responsible and helpful person who ensures order and a pleasant environment as a caretaker.

You can expect a versatile and exciting field of work:

• Personnel, organizational and professional leadership of the team of 4 to 5 people
• Support and guidance of the apprentice maintenance practitioner EBA
• Operation and maintenance of infrastructure as well as all building services systems
• Cleaning organization including practical work
• Care and maintenance of outdoor areas including winter service
• Ensuring safety
• Carrying out repairs and organizing/coordinating external service providers
• Supporting the school team in projects and events

You bring with you:

• Completed basic craft training (EFZ level) and further training as a caretaker with a federal professional certificate
• Professional experience in a school operation is an advantage
• High social competence, assertiveness, physical/mental resilience
• Communicative, appreciative personality with humor and good manners
• IT user skills (MS Office), very good German skills in spoken and written form
• Driver's license for car category B/BE
• Willingness for occasional, irregular assignments
