At the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy of the Institute of Psychology at the University of Bern, a position as a PhD candidate is to be filled from 1 January 2026 (or by agreement).
The advertised position is located in the field of internet-based interventions for mental disorders. The department has a focus in this research area. The position is limited to 4 years.
Tasks- Independent preparation of a dissertation in the field of internet-based interventions.
- Supervision of master’s and bachelor’s theses.
- Participation in university teaching (seminars, exercises).
- Scientific publishing at an international level.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or near completion) in psychology.
- Interest in clinical psychology, psychotherapy, and digital health care.
- Initial experience in empirical research, ideally with quantitative methods.
- Independent and reliable working style, teamwork skills, and high social competence.
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
