Engineering Specialist 80-100% (m/f/d)

In this role, you specify extensive network construction projects and ensure quality in the engineering area across all project phases.

Your tasks

• You specify extensive projects and solve complex problems, especially thanks to your solid system knowledge in fiber optic and copper areas as well as in overall network construction.

• You act as a link between acquisition, construction management, and authorities, ensuring the best possible flow of information.

• You ensure that production targets are met while guaranteeing quality assurance across all project phases in engineering.

• You support the development of internal concepts and processes and accompany their implementation in production.

• You know the requirements of our customers as well as the relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and integrate these in the engineering area.

• You communicate technical specifications and customer requirements clearly and ensure their correct implementation in the teams of the German-speaking Switzerland region.

• If necessary, you coordinate engineering projects with various departments and external partners in the German-speaking Switzerland region.

What we expect

• You bring a positive and proactive attitude ("Can-Do" mentality).

• You have very good knowledge of the existing telecommunications infrastructure in Switzerland.

• The Swisscom environment and its specific tools such as PTA-AM/DA, Clima, NetCracker, ISLK, ITSM, etc. are well known to you.

• You are always committed, reliable, adaptable, independent, and known for your team spirit and strong sense of responsibility.

• Your working style is structured and solution-oriented, and you convince with very good communication skills.

• You have confident German language skills. French and/or English is an advantage.
