Laboratory Technician 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

About the Position
 

In our accredited development and type testing laboratories in Zurich-Oerlikon, we test high-voltage devices and systems for electrical insulation and rated current carrying capacity. As a laboratory technician (m/f/d), you are an important part of product development and certification. You work directly on test execution and contribute to shaping innovative solutions for the energy future.
 

What you can achieve

• Assembly, installation, and connection of test objects and test equipment in the high-voltage and high-current laboratory

• Inspection of delivered test specimens and completion according to documentation and drawings

• Setup and calibration of measurement chains in collaboration with test engineers

• Independent execution and documentation of small tests according to specifications

• Maintenance and care of operational equipment, devices, and tools

• Compliance with and enforcement of internal laboratory and safety regulations

• Supervision of assigned trainees and support in the development of new test methods
   

What you bring

• Completed technical training (e.g., mechanic, electromechanic, or automation technician)

• 2–3 years of professional experience in a comparable environment

• Very good German skills, English skills are an advantage

• Enthusiasm for technical challenges and a flexible working style
