The foreign exchange and precious metals trading of Zürcher Kantonalbank is active around the clock at the Zurich location on the global market. We are always reachable for our customers via traditional and electronic channels. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious salesperson for the sales team in the banks and central banks segment for the Central and South America region.

Your tasks

You identify and develop new business opportunities in the area of foreign exchange, money market & precious metals
You maintain and deepen existing customer relationships and continuously expand new contacts
You manage, analyze, and optimize customer business via traditional and electronic channels
You know the needs of your customer portfolio and create individual hedging strategies
You are at the pulse of the markets and proactively generate new trading ideas and strategies
You work closely with various internal departments (Cross Asset & Relationship Managers)

Your profile

University degree (university or university of applied sciences) in economics, finance, or a related field – complemented by the completed ACI Dealing Certificate as well as another recognized certification (e.g., CFA)
Several years of relevant professional experience in the international capital market, ideally with a focus on foreign exchange and precious metals trading or money market – Debt Capital Markets knowledge or similar is an advantage
Proven track record in sales/advisory, ideally at an international bank or a leading financial institution
At least 8 years of advising financial institutions in the Central and South America region, of which at least 3 years in an independent or leading role with portfolio responsibility
High self-motivation, strong resilience, and the ability to independently set priorities and deliver high-quality results under pressure in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Very good Spanish (native or C2), German, and English skills at a negotiation level (at least C1) – additional languages (especially Italian) are an advantage
Knowledge and adherence to the FX Global Code, Money Market Codes, and the Global Precious Metals Code
