The Opportunity
The High Voltage Products division of Hitachi Energy is globally recognized as a specialist in power transmission and distribution systems. At our Zurich-Oerlikon location, we develop and manufacture gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy. Using state-of-the-art development tools and methods, we ensure the high reliability of our switchgear systems.
How you'll make an impact

Redesign and further development of handling tools for assembling GIS units and fields within the factory

Definition and implementation of standards, documentation, best practices, and procedures for all new and existing products to ensure the required quality and productivity

Analysis of key performance indicators to derive actions for improvement.

Training and certification of production employees

Further development of assembly processes and related equipment with a focus on improving quality and productivity
