For our foundry, we are looking for an experienced and organisationally strong shift supervisor who efficiently controls production, ensures quality, and leads by example on the shopfloor.

Shift Supervisor Foundry (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Planning, monitoring and controlling core and casting programmes; ensuring smooth production processes including order processing and key figure recording
• Allocation of employees, ensuring break cover, balancing capacities as well as responsibility for holiday planning and working time control
• Monitoring process parameters, conducting random checks and initiating measures in case of quality deviations
• Enforcement of all safety regulations, conducting rounds and ensuring tidiness
• Employee discussions, assessments, promotion as well as supervision of apprentices and contact person for the team
• Carrying out minor repairs, coordination in case of disruptions, material management as well as inventory and ongoing process optimisation

Your profile

• Completed technical training, ideally in a foundry
• Several years of experience in production as well as initial leadership experience
• Structured, responsible and solution-oriented way of working
• Assertiveness combined with team orientation
• Good knowledge of production processes, quality assurance and occupational safety
