What to expect
- You develop and operate data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for transforming standardized data up to usage in dashboards and analytical self-service applications
- You model reusable and understandable data products and ensure that data can be used consistently and reliably for analyses
- You work on our data platform and continuously develop the data products on it
- You develop meaningful dashboards and reports and use data storytelling to prepare complex data understandably and make it usable as a decision basis for our departments
- You work closely with departments and stakeholders, understand their questions, and translate requirements into concrete data products and BI solutions
- You bring topics hands-on into implementation, evaluate new technologies, and contribute your experience to conceptual topics such as data architecture or governance if needed
- You stay up to date with technology development in the area of Data & Analytics regarding new technologies, tools, and methods and test them for productive use
What you bring
- You understand how to translate data into stories and make them tangible with meaningful dashboards
- You are confident in data modeling, develop analytical data models (e.g., star schema), and ideally have experience with technologies like dbt
- You feel at home along the entire data value chain – from integration to provisioning (ETL/ELT, pipelines)
- You are familiar with data engineering on modern data platforms (experience with cloud data platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks)
- You work proficiently with SQL and Python and use them for analysis, transformation, and automation of data
- You approach topics in a structured, pragmatic way with implementation strength and reliably bring solutions into productive use
- Ideally, you have already dealt with conceptual topics such as data architecture, data governance, or data platforms as well as requirements engineering
- You work motivated and team-oriented, promote cross-departmental collaboration, and communicate openly and clearly.
