YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
More and more electrical components and electrical systems are being used in rail vehicles, which must meet high requirements. Specialized system engineering expert teams are available for implementation.
The project managers for electrical engineering ensure a systematic, structured, and coordinated approach of the different specialist groups and areas in the various projects.
- Responsibility for the technical development and implementation of the electrical systems and functions of our rail vehicles
- Planning and ensuring project-related budget and schedule targets in close cooperation with the overall project managers
- Technical leadership of the system engineers within the scope of the assignment, in close coordination and cooperation with the overall project management and the specialist departments
- Responsibility for the implementation of technical customer specifications as well as relevant standards and laws, taking into account the current state of the art with the aim of delivering high-quality vehicles
- Management of customer and approval requirements from project start to customer acceptance
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed technical education at university level in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
- Relevant professional experience in the design of technical systems in rail vehicle construction or plant engineering
- Good understanding of systems engineering
- Several years of experience in project management
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%) as well as high commitment to realize fascinating projects
- Very good German and English skills at C1 level, spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and reliability as well as strong communication and coordination skills
- Motivating, organizationally strong personality with a hands-on mentality
- Enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
