The Swiss saltworks ensure the salt supply for Switzerland on behalf of the cantons and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The saltworks currently operate 3 saltworks with the associated mining areas. In Schweizerhalle and Riburg, extraction takes place using the leaching process in various brine fields, and in Bex underground also using the leaching process. The safe extraction of the approved salt deposits is of essential importance to all of us. As part of further expansion, we are looking for the following employees for the drilling and brine field operations in the Riburg/Möhlin and Pratteln area for our 2-shift operation:

2 x Construction Skilled Worker Drilling Operations / Civil Engineering

2 x Construction Skilled Worker Maintenance Drilling Operations

What you can achieve with us

• Execution of drilling and workover operations, independent and safe execution of coarse mechanical interventions on wells, e.g. pipe changes, pipe installation, pipeline modification work, backflushing, milling and cutting work
• Operation and monitoring of drilling rigs and equipment, responsible for the correct handling, inspection and maintenance of the machines and tools used
• Safe handling of suspended loads, hydraulic tongs, winches, swivel heads, rotary tables, pumps, flushing circuits and various measuring and testing devices Support in compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Active participation in daily safety meetings (Toolbox Talks) as part of wellbore security, use of PPE, implementation of HSE requirements and immediate reporting of deviations or near misses
• Maintenance and servicing of equipment including regular functional tests, cleaning and minor maintenance measures on tools and systems

Your know-how and background

• Construction/craft training (construction, civil engineering, metal construction, drilling technology, tunnel construction)
• Car driving license and for the maintenance position only with truck driving license
• Knowledge in hydraulics, pressure and control technology, construction machinery an advantage
• Hands-on, reliable, open team player, fluent German skills
