CNC Setter Short Turning

About the job

Do you master the art of short turning and get CNC machines running? Then you are exactly right with us! We are looking for an experienced CNC setter/operator for short turning (m/f/d) immediately.

Your area of responsibility includes:

• Setting up multi-axis CNC short turning machines (Okuma, Miyano or Index)

• Independently manufacturing complex precision turned parts according to the production plan

• Adjusting and optimizing CNC programs

• Setting up and programming holder robots (Fanuc control)

• Planning, monitoring and optimizing production processes

• Ensuring high quality of the workpieces

• Troubleshooting production disruptions

• Contributing ideas for process improvement

To be successful in this position, you have the following qualifications and skills:

• Completed basic training as a polymechanic or production mechanic EFZ

• Professional experience as a setter

• Knowledge of machine types Okuma, Miyano or Index short turning machines

• Knowledge of controls Okuma, Fanuc, Mitsubishi or Siemens

• Good 3-dimensional imagination

• German language skills at least A2
