During your assistantship, you will be co-responsible for the care groups focusing on dementia and behavioral disorders. Geriatric-gerontopsychiatric approaches are the main focus. A later transfer to the Bächli care center in Bassersdorf, where geriatric-rehabilitative approaches and palliative care are emphasized, is possible.

• Ensuring a professionally high-quality medical treatment under the leadership of the medical management
• Maintaining open and transparent communication with residents, relatives, and external partners
• Close collaboration within the interprofessional team
• Participation in training and further education as well as in the continuous professional development of the medical service

• Medical degree recognized in Switzerland
• Interest in geriatrics and working with elderly people
• Reliability, commitment, empathy, and ability to work in a team
• Confident German language skills, foreign language skills are an advantage

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two care centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three care apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to elderly, care-dependent people and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
