• You perform the function of responsible welding supervision at Stadler Bussnang AG according to EN 15085-2 and ISO 3834-2
• Technical leadership of the currently 8-member welding supervision team
• You review contract, manufacturing, and process documents regarding manufacturing and quality requirements and evidence, manufacturing possibilities, and compliance with standards
• You create and monitor compliance with welding planning documents, work instructions, and project-specific test instructions
• You ensure the quality of internal welding production in the aluminum area (CL 1)
• You conduct audits as well as First Article Inspections at our suppliers

• Degree (FH/University) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent
• Additional training as IWE/EWE (International/European Welding Engineer) mandatory
• Several years of experience in a comparable position (preferably in rail vehicle construction)
• Assertive personality with a pragmatic and solution-oriented working style
• Fluent German and English skills (level B2) in spoken and written form
• Willingness to travel occasionally for plant and supplier visits
