Senior Physician for the Management of Hometreatment / Outreach Services (Job sharing possible)

About the job

• In this role, you are responsible for the conception, development, and management of the new treatment pathway for outreach services of PSG, such as Hometreatment, together with the dual treatment pathway management in nursing. In addition, you take on the overall management of the existing crisis intervention center and the mobile teams at the St.Gallen workplace location.
• The establishment of necessary structures and processes also falls within your area of responsibility, such as networking within and outside PSG with important stakeholders.
• You take on the professional leadership, promotion, and development of the medical and psychological treatment pathway staff at the locations and ensure their appropriate level of information.
• According to the principles of evidence-based medicine, you lead the treatment pathway and continuously develop it further.
• Conducting clinical supervisions for your team is also part of your responsibilities, as well as active participation in teaching and in training, further education, and continuing education.
• You initiate, control, and accompany development and change processes within the teams and promote collaboration both within the treatment pathway and beyond.
• You consistently pursue business management goals and actively engage in internal and external networking.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration is close to your heart. Through open communication and transparent cooperation, you efficiently achieve the goal of safe and modern patient care.

• You have a recognized specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy and bring solid clinical expertise.
• Several years of leadership experience at the senior physician level with extended responsibility or as a senior medical director are a matter of course for you. You know how to promote and further develop employees both professionally and personally.
• Your professional experience in acute psychiatry is comprehensive, and you are well acquainted with complex psychiatric treatment situations.
• Ideally, you have experience in the field of outreach psychiatric services and/or telemedicine. You also demonstrate a pronounced openness to innovative care models.
• A subspecialty title in consultative and liaison psychiatry is an advantage; alternatively, you are willing to acquire it.
• A completed doctorate underlines your scientific interest and deepens your expertise.
