At Sika Manufacturing AG in Sarnen, we manufacture high-quality plastic membranes for roof, tunnel, and structural waterproofing. The process operator (m/f) plays a key role in the production process and, together with their team, is responsible for ensuring a high standard of quality and performance.
Job Description
- Setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion equipment
- Professionally leading assigned personnel in the shift group
- Precise implementation of order planning in terms of quantity, quality, and deadlines
- Participation in production trials
- Vacation replacement in the premixing area
- Training and supervising new employees and apprentices
- Careful documentation of product quality (SAP)
- Performing maintenance and cleaning tasks
Qualifications
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system / readiness for 4-shift operation
- Motivation to learn new things
- Very good technical understanding and a flair for numbers
- High reliability, flexibility, and resilience
- Good social skills and ability to work in a team
- Strong safety and environmental awareness
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form (at least B2)
- Professional experience in a manual environment
