About the job
In this role, you will on the one hand take on the specialist responsibility for the area of disadvantage compensation and further develop it in close cooperation with the Student Services management. You ensure legally compliant and transparent procedures, review applications, and develop appropriate measures. In doing so, you accompany and advise students and ensure clear communication of the decided measures to the relevant internal departments. In addition, you are involved in awareness-raising work, for example by organizing input events on various medical conditions. Complementing this, you also conduct coaching and counseling sessions with students in the area of self-management and learning skills, design and lead workshops, and contribute to the further development of corresponding formats. Through your work, you strengthen equal opportunity frameworks and support students in their academic, professional, and personal development.

Your profile
- Degree in a relevant field (university degree preferred)
- Further training in coaching (e.g., federally certified business mentor, CAS Coaching)
- Experience in counseling and coaching as well as in leading and designing workshops
- Confident handling of sensitive personal data as well as knowledge in the area of disadvantage compensation
- High sensitivity to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity issues
- Empathetic, reflective personality with strong communication and counseling skills and enjoyment in working with students
