In addition, we operate the only pressing plant in the Zurich city area at the Höngg location. Thus, we not only have wonderful everyday wines and jewels from our own production from our own vineyards in the surrounding area, but also fine international top wines. In the listed rooms of the Zweifel family’s Höngg main house, we also run a wine tavern. Our wine tavern kitchen has a rustic, hearty touch, cooked and served with a lot of heart and creativity, without losing sight of our tradition, innovation, and sustainability. THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE WITH US...
- Mise en place tasks (focus on cold kitchen/garde manger) under the direction of the head chef
- Cook and plate dishes for ä la carte and banquets
- Independent station management, especially in the cold kitchen
- Preparation work
- Manage inventory
- Adherence to high quality standards
- Daily and periodic cleaning tasks in the kitchen
- Dishwashing and assistance in maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen
- Cleaning kitchen laundry
- Assistance with waste disposal
- Assistance with tidying and cleaning tasks in the dining area according to HACCP guidelines
- Appropriate representation of the company internally and externally
WHY YOU WILL SUCCEED...
- Several years of professional experience as a cook or completed cook apprenticeship (preferably EFZ)
- Solid professional and product knowledge
- Good spoken German skills
- Team player with a hands-on mentality
