In this varied role, you will work closely with our EHS Manager and take responsibility for exciting tasks in the areas of Environment, Health & Safety. Position:
As an EHS Engineer (m/f/d), you will take on exciting and responsible tasks in these areas:
- Rethinking safety and health concepts
You support modern strategies for occupational safety and health management and take our environmental management to the next level.
- Measures that make an impact
You plan, organize, and implement practical measures – from safety checks to health campaigns.
- Convey knowledge & strengthen culture
You conduct trainings, information campaigns, and action days and actively promote a safety culture in the plant.
- Identify & minimize risks
You continuously monitor our safety standards, assess risks on site, and specifically initiate improvements.
- Documentation with system
You create and maintain process documents including ISO, operating instructions, and safety data sheets.
- Keep compliance in view
You conduct internal audits and inspections and support the further development of our EHS management system.
- Live sustainability
You proactively engage in environmental concerns and actively drive sustainable initiatives forward.
- Numbers that count
You support the recording and evaluation of relevant EHS key figures and help derive concrete measures from them.
Requirements:
- At least one year of professional experience in the field of occupational, environmental, or health protection, e.g., as an environmental engineer, safety and health coordinator, auditor, or in consulting
- Completed studies (HF/FH) or further training in an EHS-relevant field, e.g., occupational, organizational and personnel psychology, industrial engineering, environmental engineering, or as an ASGS specialist
- Knowledge of ISO standards 14001, 45001, and ideally also 50001
- Ability to design and conduct trainings in a motivating and engaging way
- Strong implementation skills and hands-on mentality
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills
