To complete our BVG legal department, we are looking for a
Lawyer 60-100%
Your tasks
General:
- Collaboration on general legal issues, especially interfaces between law, compliance, and organization
- Handling legal questions from the areas of Asga's occupational pension schemes
- Identifying and implementing legal concerns with corresponding participation in projects
- Triage and support of legal questions or disputes with external advisors
- (Co-)management and creation of legal documents in the BVG area (regulations, Asga contracts, guidelines, information sheets, etc.)
- Participation in training and education in the legal areas of occupational pension schemes
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, statutes, regulations, internal instructions, and guidelines within the framework of a gradual development of a compliance system
- Legal and regulatory monitoring in the BVG area
- Review and assurance of legal compliance of business processes in the occupational pension area
- Ensuring compliance with market-standard conditions in legal transactions with related parties
- Maintenance and monitoring of regulatory provisions to avoid conflicts of interest and to handle legal transactions with related parties
- Obtaining and reviewing declarations of loyalty
Data protection:
- Review of contracts, privacy statements, and processes
- Coordination of inquiries from data subjects or authorities regarding data protection issues
- Implementation of a system for ongoing monitoring, review, and improvement of compliance and data protection measures
- Documentation of all relevant activities and ensuring the ability to provide information in case of official inquiries
- Support in preparation for crisis situations and appropriate handling of incidents
Your profile
- University degree in law or comparable education
- Additional training and professional experience in social insurance and/or data protection and compliance are advantageous
- Reliability, solution-oriented approach, cultural sensitivity, ability to mediate between old structures and new requirements, as well as teamwork and communication skills
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, analytical and structured thinking, and a high degree of self-organization
