Automation Technician – Switchgear Construction – Interesting Projects and Permanent Position
Activities
- Independently building and wiring control cabinets according to plan and schedule to bring complex systems to life
- Testing systems and preparing installations to ensure the highest quality and safety
- Installing control cabinets nationwide at the customer’s site to deliver tailored solutions on location
- Carrying out modifications and changes to controls to optimize existing systems and adapt them to requirements
- Responsibility for the final inspection of switchgear to ensure everything functions perfectly
- Complete project management from planning to implementation to realize innovative solutions for our customers
- Reporting work, creating protocols, checklists, and documentation to maintain oversight and ensure seamless documentation
- Supporting the training of our apprentices to pass on knowledge and expertise and promote new talent
Requirements
- A completed apprenticeship as an automation technician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ, or an equivalent qualification to build on solid expertise
- Professional experience in wiring systems according to schematics to perform complex tasks safely and precisely
- Ideally experience in switchgear and control system construction to be familiar with the requirements and standards
- Knowledge of common MS Office programs to create documentation
- Good comprehension, networked and analytical thinking, as well as understanding of technical contexts to solve complex tasks
- A motivated, independent, and customer-oriented approach within the team to achieve success together
- German language skills in spoken and written form; English skills are an advantage
