Head of Logistics & Purchasing

• Leadership & responsibility of logistics as well as purchasing as a member of the plant management
• Leading the departments of purchasing, scheduling, central warehouse, fleet management, and waste management within the logistics department
• Purchasing responsibility in co-lead with the purchasing area management Höngg
• Responsible for the procurement strategy as well as for effective purchasing processes including implementation of the sustainability strategy in the purchasing area in close cooperation with the purchasing area management Höngg
• Responsibility for goods and transport services, internal and external storage, logistics processes and scheduling, purchasing responsibility, vehicle fleet including supplier evaluation
• Professional support and contact person in the assigned purchasing area regarding supplier, performance, and contract management 
• Active support in supplier development including price and condition negotiation  
• Co-responsible for risk and quality management in the logistics & purchasing area
• Co-responsible for the preparation and execution of audits / certifications in the logistics & supplier management area 
• Ensuring expertise through regular training and access to procurement market data analyses
• Responsible for implementing the sustainability strategy in the logistics & purchasing area
• Responsibility for creating and implementing the roadmap in the logistics area

• Logistics and/or purchasing manager HF or Higher Technical School Technology & Management or comparable education and/or professional experience
• Experience or training in the areas of logistics & purchasing is required
• Business management know-how
• Fluent German and English skills, French is an advantage
• High strategic and conceptual skills
• Leadership and team skills, very good social competence
• Motivation and ability to independently lead complex projects
• Strong communication skills as well as the ability to act on various hierarchy and stakeholder levels
