At the Solothurn Center Oberwald, around 200 employees specifically and individually support people with mild to severe cognitive and physical disabilities at locations in Biberist and Zuchwil. Social Education Specialist or Care Specialist
(including Vocational Training), 80%
Your Tasks
- Ensuring professional and needs-oriented pedagogical work in three residential teams and participating in the daily life of the living groups
- Ensuring and implementing small care tasks as well as household requirements in daily life
- Supporting the team leadership in ensuring high quality in pedagogical work
- Close collaboration and regular exchange with the team leadership and support in the personnel and organizational management of three residential teams
- Promoting interdisciplinary collaboration
- Contact person for client concerns, appreciative and close collaboration with relatives, guardians, and referring agencies
- Responsible for the practical training of learners as a vocational trainer
Your Qualifications
- Completed training in social work
- Existing leadership training or willingness to further educate in this area
- Professional experience in health and social services and a special flair for working with people with disabilities
- Good leadership, social, and professional competence as well as pronounced communication skills
- Decision-making ability and assertiveness
- High physical and mental resilience
- Very good IT user knowledge
