SMACS: solutions for the uniqueness of multi-stream presence
The SMACS solutions are flexible and efficient solutions for controlling the uniqueness of presence and passage. They are based on a "multi-sensor" technological strategy. Globally, many leading companies use SMACS solutions to ensure their security. Typical applications are found in data centers, secured production areas, airports, R & D centers, and finance.
Thanks to SMACS, multi-stream security can be implemented while using a single infrastructure. This allows for more security while saving space. The streams managed by SMACS include the flow of people, the flow of disabled persons, the flow of persons with extreme body shapes, the flow of hand luggage, and the flow of materials. Designed to integrate seamlessly into existing infrastructure, SMACS are the natural complement to any identification system such as identity cards and biometric sensors.
The flexibility of SMACS also allows for the establishment of security processes that meet customer needs. Examples of such processes include "symmetric security" mode, "asymmetric security" mode, "simple lock" mode, "VIP" mode, "transport" mode, ...
Patented and "swiss made", SMACS are compatible with many security standards in various types of industry (e.g. PCI, AEO, TAPA, IFS, ...).

Usage examples
SMACS are flexible and efficient solutions for controlling the uniqueness of passage. Since 1999, many passages have been successfully secured thanks to SMACS solutions. More information on specific examples can be found in our press releases.
SMACS are capable of securing multiple types of flows simultaneously (people, disabled persons, persons with extreme body shapes, hand luggage, and materials). SMACS can be installed and integrated very easily into existing infrastructure. The operating modes of SMACS are aligned with customer requirements. They include modes such as "symmetric security" mode, "asymmetric security" mode, "simple lock" mode, "VIP" mode, "transport" mode, ...
SMACS solutions have been used to implement many demanding security standards in different markets. Examples of standards include PCI-CP, IFS, TAPA, AEO, ...
Typical applications are:
Data centers
Secured production areas
Financial institutions
Airports
Government infrastructures
Critical infrastructures
Laboratories and R&D centers
Headquarters
Prisons
Advantages
Limitations of mechanical solutions:
Traditional solutions for the uniqueness of passage rely on mechanical or physical constraints hindering the movement of people. This approach is inefficient in terms of performance and lacks flexibility to ensure an effective security procedure.
Advantages of SMACS:
SMACS solutions are efficient and flexible.
In addition to the functionality of uniqueness, SMACS incorporate vacancy control features and integrated door management.
Multi-stream security can be implemented within a single infrastructure, thus offering more security while saving space. The streams managed by SMACS include the flow of people, the flow of disabled persons, the flow of persons with extreme body shapes, the flow of hand luggage, and the flow of materials.
