Sterilization Manager
The La Source Clinic is a unique multidisciplinary acute care facility. Reference: CLS/RH/2025.657 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Hours: Monday to Friday / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop “Riponne” or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop “Beaulieu-Jomini”)
Why do we need you?
Following an internal mobility, we are looking for a Sterilization Manager to lead the activities of the sector, ensure compliance with current standards, and support a motivated team in the continuous improvement of its practices.
What will you be doing?
- Manage and support a versatile and committed team, creating a collaborative, motivating work environment conducive to professional development
- Supervise the overall activity of the sterilization service in compliance with current quality, hygiene, and safety standards
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the ISO 13485 quality manual within the service
- Manage and monitor the annual qualifications of equipment, particularly autoclaves and sterilization systems.
- Ensure the proper conduct of BPR tests (validation tests of sterilization cycle effectiveness) and analyze the results.
- Prepare and ensure the follow-up of audits.
Who will you be working with?
Our team consists of 13 collaborators, including one apprentice currently being recruited, distinguished by its solidarity, empathy, availability, and dynamism. The team's motto: Together, it's better!You will be in direct contact with Audrey Schumacher, Chief Nurse Coordinator of the operating room. With over 20 years of experience in the health field and more than 10 years in the operating room, she is available and contributes to the development and support of each member of her team. She daily ensures that the service and clinic objectives are met.The essentials:
- You hold a Specialist in Sterilization diploma (Level 3) or a Technical Assistant in Sterilization diploma (Level 2) completed by 5 years of experience in the field of sterilization
- You have confirmed experience in team management, with a real interest in supporting and developing collaborators
- You have solid knowledge of the requirements related to the ISO 13485 standard
- You have the ability to structure, plan, and monitor processes rigorously
- You have a strong sense of responsibility, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Your assets:
- A training in management or a strong motivation to train in this area
- A training for the training of apprentices
