Head of Social Insurance Department 80-100 %
Due to the upcoming retirement of our department head, we are looking for a successor for our social insurance team as of February 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
- Personnel, professional and organizational management of the Social Insurance Department (supplementary benefits to AHV/IV and AHV branch office)
- Responsibility for quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as budgeting
- Creating and further developing tools (instructions, checklists, calculation aids)
- Checking, calculating and issuing claims for supplementary benefits to AHV/IV and bridging benefits for older unemployed persons
- Independent case management (carrying out periodic reviews, changes, reimbursements from estates)
- Checking and billing of illness and disability costs
- Processing and drafting decisions in objection, remission, appeal and criminal proceedings
- Advising pension recipients and their relatives and providing information
Your profile
- Social insurance specialist with federal diploma and several years of professional experience
- Leadership skills with a sense for employee development
- Organizational skills, personal responsibility and assertiveness
- Service-oriented demeanor as well as good written and oral communication skills
- Team-oriented and supportive personality with negotiation skills and open communication style
- Experience with the Zuscalc program is an advantage
