Material Qualification and Packaging Development Specialist (a, 60-100%)

Früh Verpackungstechnik AG is a successful Swiss industrial company based in Fehraltorf with around 700 employees. We are a leading contract packer as well as a manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions for medical technology and pharmaceutical products.

We are looking to strengthen our team in Fehraltorf with a:

Your role with us:

• Responsible for all inquiries from internal and external customers in the field of material qualification
• Responsible for creating detailed and precise certificates of conformity
• Responsible for defining, organizing, and documenting internal and external tests (e.g., stability tests, extraction studies, and toxicological assessments)
• Development and monitoring of material specifications, both for purchasing and sales materials
• Keeping up to date with the latest regulatory developments through daily interactions with customers and suppliers
• Technical responsibility for packaging inquiries and accompanying the process from quotation to handover to series production
• Effective coordination of activities between customers, sales, quality assurance, purchasing, and production
• Planning and conducting careful process validations as well as operations and performance qualifications
• Ensuring manufacturing processes such as lamination, roll cutting, sealing, and pouch production

What you bring with you:

• Completed studies in a technical or scientific field (materials science, chemistry, plastics engineering, or packaging technology)
• Experience in a comparable position or similar field of activity, preferably in relevant product markets such as technical applications, food, medical devices, or pharmaceutical packaging
• Confident command of MS Office and Copilot
• Serious, straightforward, and reliable demeanor with a results-oriented working style and an eye for detail
• Very good German and English skills (B2/C1 level)
