Arxada in Visp is looking for a Process Analytics Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of process analytical devices and systems. You will work closely with the process analytics team, production, EMR, and the workshops.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Ensuring the optimal availability of process analytical devices as well as their safe and compliant installation and commissioning
Maintenance of process analytical devices as an essential part of process safety, emissions monitoring, and controlled automated plant operation
Main tasks include the calibration of existing analytical devices, the installation of analytical devices that meet the latest technology standards
Responsible for the timely and cost-effective planning and execution of projects
Responsible for precise safety and quality-relevant PA equipment

Qualifications and experience:

Completed training as a laboratory technician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or chemical technician
Experience in the chemical industry is desirable
Fluent German and good English skills
Experience in process analytics is an advantage
Experience in the maintenance of spectrometers and GCs is a plus
Sense of responsibility and decisiveness
Independent working style and analytical thinking are essential for maintenance activities in the field
