Summary

Line Leader: Primary Packaging – Solid Dosage Forms

For our team in primary packaging of solid dosage forms, we are immediately looking for a motivated and experienced line leader with solid GMP knowledge, strong technical understanding, and team spirit.

In this role, you are responsible for the timely execution of the manufacturing and packaging tasks assigned to you according to the production schedule, while complying with all GMP, safety, and environmental guidelines.

About the Role

Main Tasks

Machine packaging of pharmaceuticals (bottles and blisters) on modern, complex packaging lines
Leading, organizing, and supporting the plant team of the assigned production line
Changeover/setup and start-up/operation of production equipment
Responsibility for equipment cleaning and disinfection
Performing In-Process-Control (IPC) checks
Order preparation in collaboration with planning, warehouse, and process experts
Troubleshooting minor technical malfunctions; supporting qualification and maintenance work as needed
Training new employees in the area
Accurate, complete, and traceable documentation of activities on paper and in electronic batch documentation (e.g., SAP) according to GMP
Technical contact person for the assigned equipment and processes during audits and inspections
Ensuring and enforcing GMP and HSE requirements
Participation in housekeeping (order, cleanliness, 5S) in the production area
Continuous improvement: identifying weaknesses and proposing measures (organization, process, safety, hygiene)
Participation in all function-relevant training and ensuring the required training status
Willingness to work overtime or shifts (early and late shifts), if necessary
Collaboration with other units and deployment in adjacent areas as needed (e.g., other primary packaging lines, warehouse, secondary packaging, manual hand packaging)

Required Skills

Completed training in chemistry/pharmaceuticals or technology
Professional experience as a line leader/line manager in a GMP-regulated environment, ideally in pharmaceutical product packaging (bottles and blisters)Strong technical competence with experience in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting automated production equipment
High sense of duty and quality awareness; careful documentation and working methods as well as order and cleanliness at the workplace
Constructive, solution-oriented, responsible; deep understanding of quality and compliance
High self-motivation and quick
Grasp for learning new tasks
Experience in leading small teams and in employee training is an advantage
Good IT and MS Office skills (e.g., creating simple work or operating instructions)
Solid knowledge in GMP environment and hygiene-critical areas
Organizational talent and assertiveness
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; English skills are an advantage
