Your Crew:
In our production team, you will work with 32 experienced specialists on highly precise components such as the payload fairings – the protective covers that safely accompany satellites on their way into space. Their manufacture requires craftsmanship, technical sensitivity, and the highest precision. Our team combines many years of experience with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. What sets us apart: a strong sense of community, a deep understanding of processes, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Together, we lay the foundation for successful space missions – from the first handling to the launch.
Your Mission:
- Processing composite structures for launch vehicles (drilling, milling, riveting, gluing)
- Independently assembling assemblies and fixtures according to manufacturing documents
- Loading and operating equipment
- Packaging and preparing components for transport
- Process-compliant and complete creation of the required manufacturing documentation
- Participation in internal development and improvement projects, optimizing work steps and processes
- Performing external work (domestic and abroad) or test campaigns within personal reasonable limits
Your Story:
- Technical basic training with successfully completed apprenticeship (e.g., industrial tinsmith, plant & apparatus builder, polymechanic, plastics technologist, model carpenter, carpenter)
- Ability to read technical plans and good spatial imagination
- Several years of experience in the field (aerospace, lightweight construction, or motorsport advantageous)
- Strong teamwork skills
- High flexibility, commitment, and resilience
- Strong quality orientation
- English skills are an advantage
